Alongside her medical studies, Theiss embarked on a remarkable kickboxing career. She trained under Pavlica and Mladen Steko, becoming one of the most successful German kickboxers. Over a span of several years, Theiss achieved an impressive record, earning 23 Kickboxing World Championships.
