Cholera Outbreak Fears Amidst Devastation
The flooding has also raised concerns about a potential outbreak of cholera, a waterborne disease that is already prevalent in Yemen.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), over 1 million cases of cholera have been reported in Yemen since the start of the war in 2015.

Call for International Aid
Yemeni officials have appealed for international aid to help with the relief efforts.
The United Nations has already released $20 million from its emergency fund to support the response.
