During the yatra, devotees walk barefooted along the 425-kilometer route on the Delhi-Meerut highway. There are two routes for the Kanwar Yatra in the district, one of which is 25 kilometers long from Muradnagar to Tila.
The Kanwar Yatra is a major religious event in India, and millions of devotees participate each year. The yatra is a symbol of devotion and faith, and it is believed that those who complete the pilgrimage will be blessed by Lord Shiva.
